In Honor of my Dad

I took this picture in our backyard of the red tulips blooming with grape hyacinths. Then in honor of my father, I played around in photoshop and came up with this. My dad is quite the hotographer. He has such an eye for composition and color. You should check out his blog with some of his latest photographs.

I love the spingtime and all the pretty flowers. The colors of the flowers after the brown winter are just so uplifting. There is just something renewing about this season.

i didn't like that one and so this one is a true pic with only a crop. I really liked the true pic without all the artsy stuff.

it is really pretty! (don't you love spring?)

when i first saw the last picture and before i read the blog, i didn't realize that you had photoshopped the picture.... i thought maybe you had jiggly hands when you took it!:-)

i like the true picture better, too, but the artsy one was very impressionisitic... like a watercolor or something.

What is a "hotographer"? Does it involve someone who is hot? Maybe your hotography would be even better if you used hotoshop instead of photoshop.
