Broken In Revisited Part 3!
We made it to California - boy was that a long drive! My NEW (make sure you read that right! NEW) car did great BUT while we were driving somewhere in the desert a rock must have hit my windshield because NOW there is a 12-16 inch CRACK (make sure you read that right! CRACK!) in my NEW car's WINDSHIELD! What is up with this car?! I have never ever - ok! wait just a minute - I am having a thought! Well, to be honest - the ford taurus that we had overheated quite a bit, the mazda overheated quite a bit, the headliner thingy on my plymouth sundance fell and we had to staple it back up - it looks like maybe I do have issues with cars!

i can vouch for this - it is a total crack! not a little ding or dent, but a full-out, 8-inch or so crack!!
kelly! did you NOT read my blog - it is 12 - 16 inch crack not a full 8 inches!!!! MAybe we should measure and give a more accurate measurement!
We had the same thing happen last time we drove back to TX from CA. I feel your pain. Then the guy who replaced it did it wrong and it leaked, so he had to come and do it over again.
I hope you have no more car trouble and a very blessed time in CA!

i have to be honest - i just skimmed it. so, maybe it is 12 - 16 inches...either way, it's a big crack in a brand new windshield (oh, i mean - WHIDshield).
I am positive it is longer than that- I bet it goes across the entire windshield!
As in, "I ate my whole potato." :)
yeah yeah LT - laugh it up! I am sure i can come up with something for you - as in: oooh watch out with the flames with that hair!!
I'll be seeing it tomorrow, so I'll let ya'll know. I'm sure it's traveled down the side windows by now!
oh oh oh, taking digs at my late 80s 'do, eh! You know the rooster-tail bangs were all the rage! It wasn't my fault that the Bold Hold and Stiff Stuff hairsprays didn't have warnings on them saying not to put your hair over an open-flamed candle! But then, I do have a truly hot Christmas Eve bonfire story. :)
i don't know anything about your crazy 80's hair (although, i wouldn't mind seeing a picture of it. how did it compare to brent's mullet? and what caused the flames - too much aquanet?). i think little miss pinks made that comment on my computer. :)
that is sooo funny - i totally forgot to say that that comment was from me - signed in on kelly's computer! what a riot!
Okay - the crack - it's for sure in the 16-18" range. The good news is, it's smack in the middle of the windshield and doesn't mess with the view. : )
